With a little inspiration you can transform simple cupcakes into fun and whimsical holiday treats. This is a simple Christmas cupcake decorating idea that can easily be done by kids. Make "Snowman Cupcakes" by frosting a cupcake with a white frosting. The snowman is made with stacked marshmallows. Use little chocolate candies (like sprinkles) for eyes and fasten him together with icing. You can make a hat out of a chocolate mint or a Hershey's Kiss. Extra 'snow' can be made by using shredded coconut sprinkled over the 'base'. Another variation would be to set the snowman on top of chocolate frosting, with a little shredded coconut scattered to make it look like the snow is melting.
